Biography
Denyse is currently the CEO & Founder of the Canadian Association of Ambulatory Care, Canada’s first not-for-profit organization established for professionals working in various ambulatory care areas. Her academic background includes a Bachelor degree in Health Administration with honors from Ryerson University in Toronto, Canada and a Masters degree in Health Management at McMaster University, Hamilton, Canada. Since 1993 she has had a long and successful career in healthcare working in different clinical areas including Critical Care Nursing, Patient Advocacy, and Patient Care Manager for Ambulatory Care and Peri- Anaesthesia. Denyse is also an Adjunct Lecturer with the Faculty of Nursing at the University of Toronto. In her role she has planned and implemented many new initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction. As a leader, she is constantly seeking creative ways to foste dynamic learning environment to promote high quality patient care and continuous quality improvements.
